Job Title:                             Assistant Accountant

Salary & Benefits:           £18,000 - £24,000 DOE

With customers including some of the industry's largest mobile phone retailers and networks, our client is a rapidly expanding mobile phone recycling company, recognised at number 19 in the Sunday Times Track 100 list of fastest growing companies in the UK. 

As part of their expansion they are now looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant.  This role will provide the candidate not only the chance to make a real difference to the company they are joining but also become part of a team dedicated to improvement.

As the Accounts Assistant, you will use Sage Line 50 to maintain and reconcile the sales and purchase ledger, as well as the bank accounts, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.  You will also be tasked with keeping employee records and generally assisting with the accounting function.

To be considered for this position you must be an experienced Accounts Assistant.  An AAT qualification (or equivalent) would be beneficial to your application. The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years minimum accounting experience
• Good bookkeeping skills
• Experience of preparing and maintaining sales ledger and purchase ledger
