The company are an importer of specialist quarry processing equipment from 35-300 tonnes. They require an electrically biased engineer with mechanical skills to run their service dept so candidates must have experience of something similar. The role will involve setting up SLA's, managing the service contracts and allocating engineers. It will involve alot of customer interaction and they will also be called upon to work as an engineer both on the phone and at customers sites if required - it really is a hand on position. Therefore an all round engineer who can problem solve and is prepared to get their hands dirty is the ideal person. Industry experience is not essential though somebody from a heavy plant background would be ideal. There are currently 2 service engineers and they do also use contractors.
