An excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer has arisen within this leading international engineering business with a strong reputation for innovation supplying major global customers in strong niche markets.

Position Description: Project Engineer / PMST Leader for Door Systems for forward model programmes.

Skills and Experience Required

Skills Required: Proven Project management capability demonstrated by recent delivery on time & budget. Engineering knowledge of Doors systems component design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements. Excellent communications skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels. PC Literacy Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc. Significant experience in use of engineering tools, FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.

Skills Preferred: CAD Literacy, ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD data and use associated visualisation tools. Ability to generate CAD data in Catia v5 would be an advantage. Knowledge of Electrical Systems. Any person supplied should have a valid UK driving licence and meet the medical requirements of J&LR facilities. Working knowledge of project delivery processes GPDS / FPDS / PPAP Working knowledge of change management processes AIMS, WERS, PACN.

Experience: Successful history of project management delivery ideally within the automotive sector.

Education: Ideally degree educated.
