Commis Chef – Northampton – 4 Red *Hotel - £13.5k

Our stunning 4 red * country house hotel is based in the middle of England in the stunning countryside of Northamptonshire. We are located in an ideal location for those who want to be close to Oxfordshire and Warwickshire. We have good access to public transport so commuting is never a problem.

Our hotel is well known across the UK and boasts a three rosette restaurant as well as a busy vibrant brasserie. Within the hotel we also have facilities such as award winning spa's, conference & banqueting facilities, tennis courts and a state of the art gymnasium which can be accessed by all members of staff.

Our hotel is looking for a strong and committed Commis chef to join our brigade of 9 to work in all aspects of the kitchen. You will receive on site training from our head chef who will help you to develop your skills and move up the ranks within our team. The ideal Commis chef will be qualified  in NVQ Level 1&2 and have experience working within a similar establishment. We also expect the successful candidate to be reliable, competent and passionate.

Our fine dining three rosette restaurants seats upto 40 people and serves modern European cuisine whereas our vibrant brasserie can seat upto 70 people and serves classic British cuisine. We also have conference & banqueting facilities that can cater for up to several hundred people and is nominated within the top 10 conference centres for the U.K. The successful candidate will be able to gain invaluable experience working within all 3 aspects.
