Jnr Sous Chef - Hotel/Conference Centre - Slough - £24,000k

Our client is a luxury four star deluxe hotel comprising of exclusive conference and banqueting facilities and an a la carte restaurant seating upto 200 guests. The hotel is conveniently situated just fifteen minutes from London Paddington and is local to many tourists attractions. The hotel is part of an exclusive group which boasts a remarkable collection of 4/5 starred properties.

The Head Chef is currently looking for a strong Jnr Sous Chef to join their brigade of sixteen chefs and lead the team along with the senior members of the kitchen. They have two kitchens, both containing all the latest equipment to make your job as easy as possible. The position is straight shift based and will be a total of 45hrs per week with over time paid. In terms of banquets the hotel is averaging eight functions per week and can be for up to 2000 guests.

The ideal Jnr Sous Chef will have strong culinary skills and the ability to work under pressure at high standards. The ideal Jnr Sous Chef will have previous experience in a similar role, working with large numbers in a similar property. Strong leadership skills and the ability to run more than one section would be required. As Jnr Sous Chef you will be on a salary package of £24,000k which is based on a 45hr week. The kitchen team are very friendly and all passionate about their careers as chefs.

The position of Jnr Sous Chef will be for an immediate start. Accommodation can be provided at an excellent rate should there be a need.
