Our client is a four star luxury boutique hotel which is situated in the centre of York within easy access of all the main attractions. Our hotel boasts thirty seven contemporary boutique style rooms and it has received an AA Rosette Award for our fine dining restaurant. The restaurant thrives off using local produce which dominates the menus and It is renowned throughout Yorkshire for it's superb food.

The head chef is currently looking for a strong and confidant sous chef to join our brigade of 9 experienced chef. We are open seven days a week and the position is based on seven shifts per week. The kitchen is modern, spacious and has all the latest equipment to make your job as easy as possible.

The ideal sous chef needs to process strong culinary skills, deliver under pressure and have very good man management skills to lead the kitchen in the absence of the head chef. Previous experience in a similar hotel or award winning restaurant is essential.
