Assistant Youth Worker 12 Hours per Week as follows: 3 hour evening session on Wednesday 5.5 hour evening session on Thursday plus 3.5 hours flexible for administration and planning Salary: £7 per hour ‘The Lounge’ is a new and exciting Community Internet Cafe located in brand new premises in the heart of the village of Alvechurch in Worcestershire. Our aim is to engage and work with the young people in our community in a positive way, and to develop sustainability for the future. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Youth Worker to work alongside our Lead Youth Worker to help us grow and develop this very special project. You will need to have experience working with young people and be skilled at implementing a broad range of activities to suit an age range of 11-18 years. We are also looking for volunteers to help out at the above sessions so please contact us if you would like to be involved but cannot commit to a paid position at present, or would like to gain some further experience with young people.
