Job Description
Midland Signs are looking to recruit a Designer/Assistant to help out within a busy environment and untertake tasks while the team is out on call.
Responsibilities of the role may include:
Client Liaising - Dealing with clients/enquiries via email and phone.
Quotations - To be able to source costs from our suppliers, price up jobs and email quotes to clients.
Preparing print files - Prepare finalised artwork ready for printing/cutting (exporting to EPS files).
Sales and Marketing - To work on your own initiative to push for new business.
Admin - Produce invoices for clients as well as taking and chasing for payments.
Purchasing - Organising stock and placing orders from the relevant suppliers
Skills and Experience Required
-The ideal candidate must have experience in designing in CorelDraw and be able to produce signs to the high quality finish Midland Signs offer.
-You must be able to to produce designs in a vector format and prepare files (exporting to EPS) ready to print.
-Experience in liaising with customers is desired but not essential.
