Job Description
Working for our Training Centre located in Erdington,Birmingham, you will be responsible for assisting tutors with lesson plans and classroom support within Motor Mechanics. Daily duties will include • Assist with the preparation of lesson plans for Motor Mechanic • Assist tutors with classroom teaching • Support learners providing one to one support where necessary • Supervise learners at break times • Motivate and mentor learners to encourage learners to complete the course • Monitoring learners attendance and timekeeping on site • Assist tutors with the completion of paperwork • Attend regular team meetings
Working a 22.5 hour week Monday to Wednesday 9.00 - 5.00
Skills and Experience Required
ESSENTIAL - Previous experience within Motor Mechanics - Good communication and motivational skills - Able to motivate and supervise a group of learners - Self motivated, reliable and professional attitude towards work DESIRABLE - Mentoring Qualification - Previous experience in Youth Work - Previous teaching experience or similar
