Job Description
1. Carry out first article inspection reports an all product .
2. Inspect all components pre all treatments.
3. Inspect all components post treatments.
4. Carry out all reports where necessary .
5. Carry out inspection using CMM.
6. Work with all setters / operators to ensure first articles are carried out in a safe & efficient manner to minimise downtime on the machining / turning centres.
7. Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment.
8. Input and perform trending of key inspection process metrics.
9. Ensure all documentation is relevant & at current revisions with a strong focus on detail & traceability.
10. Initiate Non-Conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices) as required.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience of all aspects of inspection work including CMM.
Knowledge of AS9100 would be an advantage.
