Design Engineer, electro-mechanical experience, required for a niche manufacturing business. The successful applicant will be the company's primary design engineer, working alongside sales, production and technical support staff.

Duties will include the design of new products and modifications of exisiting products, mechanical switchgear design and producing wiring drawings. Occassional travel to customers and suppliers in the UK and sometimes Europe will be required.

Applicants must have previous electrical and mechanical design experience, with experience of Solidworks (applicants with relevant experience in other 3D platforms considered), experience of E3 an advantage, able to work on own initiative and deal confidently with customers and suppliers.
