Job Description

We are a niche search consultancy specialising in the Technical and Commercial Commodities sector. Headquartered on London’s Pall Mall, we handle appointments in key Commodities including Oil & Gas and Metals & Mining. We operate from Intermediate through to Senior Management and Board level, working alongside clients ranging from major Energy companies, Commercial Consultancies and large scale Investment Banks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relations as part of a front to back search & selection process. The chosen candidate will work alongside an Operations Consultant in a sub team. The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Overall management of client relations - Co-ordination of client focused market research campaigns to identify new prospects - Co-ordination of associate driven lead generation campaigns - Company representation at client meetings and presentations as well as attendance at specific industry networking events - Negotiation of TOB’s, engagement methods and preferred supplier agreements - Close co-ordination with Operations Consultant throughout campaign to ensure process efficiency and consistent quality of delivery to clients - Management of bespoke client focused online recruitment platform - Maintenance of lead generation CRM database to ensure optimal functionality - Maintenance of corporate marketing material - Co-ordination of industry focused research associates and research dissemination - Completion of further tasks will be required on an ad-hoc basis

This role is directed towards candidates who are entrepreneurially minded and whose aim at this stage of their career is monetary focused. Skills and Experience Required

You have/are: - An undergraduate or postgraduate degree - A basic understanding of the commodities/ banking & finance sectors is desirable - Previous experience within a client facing role incorporating exposure to corporate presentations, client negotiation and deal closing - A track record within lead generation and business development and a proven ability within new opportunities selection - Experience coordinating and managing a sales focused process - Experience conducting market research campaigns - Excellent client relationship management skills - Solid managerial skills - Experience working within a small team - Highly computer literate - The ability to learn “on the job”. You will be exposed to a number of new sectors within commodities, the capacity to learn quickly is vital - A strong work ethic with the discipline to work independently. A self starter - Committed with a desire to drive company growth - The ability to confidently take on tasks beyond the role remit as and when required
