Travel Consultant Milton Keynes

Galant Marketing Services are offering the following vacancy:

Location: Wolverton, Milton Keynes

Job Title: Travel Consultant

- selling holiday and travel products to customers;
- meeting sales targets as set out by the travel agency manager;
- dealing with complicated customer itineraries;
- handling customer orders and payments;
- liaising with tour operators and other key partners such as hotels and airlines regarding bookings and schedules;
- undertaking general administration;
- advising clients about passports, vaccinations, visas, foreign currency, travel insurance, car parking, car hire abroad and excursions in resorts;
- dealing with complaints;
- using and updating IT skills, since information on holiday packages and bookings is usually accessed via a network;
- Organising displays of promotional material.
- Dealing with enquiries not related to travel
- Special knowledge of airlines tariff/ booking / reservation systems
- Expertise in Galileo & Amadeus booking system is a must.
- 3 Years minimum travel industry experience
- Proficiency in Urdu and English is a Must
- Starting salary £20,000 p/a + Bonuses

Area Manager South West

Area Sales Manager / South West UK

You will be employed as part of a small team and be a pro-active business developer, reporting to the national sales manager. This is a field sales role involving researching, telephone canvassing, cold calling in person, prospecting, selling the business benefits of becoming an exclusive studio and also calling on existing clients to develop sales with them.

Remuneration will include salary, plus benefits and turnover-based commission. OTE 25K

First year candidates must have a good level of computer literacy, be trained to degree level and have the drive, initiative and ability to achieve results in a field sales role. Those with the ability to sell the Mobalpa business package of benefits and secure new partners will earn high rewards. Full training is given.
